There were delays on the M40 ahead of rush hour yesterday amid reports of a car fire and a crash.
One lane was shut on the southbound carriageway at junction 1a for the M25 while Bucks Fire deal with a car on fire.
The fire broke out before 4pm. No one is believed to have been injured.
Meanwhile, there were also reports of a crash at Handy Cross with traffic backing up there too.
