A bus has caught fire in Hazlemere this morning - close to two petrol stations. 

Ambulances and fire engines were called to the scene near the Hazlemere crossroads just before 6am this morning.

Bucks Fire say the fire was small and broke out in the engine compartment of the bus on Amersham Road. 

The fire saw a number of road closures in the area resulting in traffic delays, but the area is now clear. 

Two fire crews from High Wycombe attended and used a hose reel, a toolkit and an environmental protection kit to bring the fire under control.
