The M40 has fully reopened following a lorry fire.
Traffic was being held just before the J4 (Handy Cross) entry slip road going southbound due to heavy smoke, as emergency services worked to clear the scene.
Severe delays were reported to be building and Highways England said traffic was unable to leave via the exit slip road.
Severe delays of up to one-and-a-half hours were reported to be building back to J5 (Stokenchurch) but have now cleared.
