Firefighters have been called out to reports of a lorry on fire on M40 northbound.
Bucks Fire tweeted to say crews were on their way to the scene between J2 (Beaconsfield) and J3 (Loudwater).
One lane is still closed and traffic was being held, but has how been released, with drivers being warned of delays back to J1A and advised to allow extra travel time.
Bucks Fire confirmed no-one is injured but the lorry cab has been "destroyed".
Firefighters used two hose reels and four sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
