Firefighters raced to Beaconsfield Services after a petrol tanker caught fire in the early hours of this morning.
A rear tyre was ablaze when crews from High Wycombe and Beaconsfield arrived at the scene at 12.43am, as fears grew over the potentially catastrophic consequences of the fire spreading.
Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed firefighters used a main jet, a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.
