A man was found dead after police received panicked 999 calls about a fear for welfare case yesterday, officers have now confirmed.
Paramedics and other emergency crews raced to a house in Church Road, Penn, at about 12.15pm, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this stage there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding this death and police say they are preparing a file for the coroner.
An air ambulance was seen landing in the village yesterday afternoon as part of the emergency response to 999 calls, the authorities say.
