A 64-year-old man from Marlow who made numerous unnecessary calls to the emergency services has been given a Criminal Behaviour Order.
William Wosik, from Sandygate Road made repeated calls, mostly to police, and continued throughout the court process until the day he was sentenced police say.
Wosik was given a 12 week suspended prison sentenced and a two year CBO on Monday (April 4) after pleading guilty to improper use of a public communications network at High Wycombe Magistrate’s Court on March 23.
His CBO will be in place until April 25, 2018 and is prohibited from using any telephone system or means to call the emergency services unless it is a genuine emergency.
Investigating officer, PC Chris Allman, an Anti-Social Behaviour officer for Buckinghamshire, said: “William Wosik has persistently contacted the emergency services when he did not need to.
“We have tried to work with Mr Wosik but he continued to do this and therefore a Criminal Behaviour Order has been put in place to prevent this continuing.”
In 2014 Wosik - who is disabled - slammed motorists in the town who parked their cars on pavements as they force him to drive his motorised scooter on to the road.
