Squash players in Holmer Green will be picking up their rackets and heading to the courts for a 24-hour squashathon in aid of charity this weekend.
The Holmer Green Squash Club is hosting the event in aid of Saunderton-based charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, from 5pm on Friday, April 15 until 5pm on Saturday.
Residents who want to join in can take part from 9am on Saturday and two hearing dog puppies will be on hand to keep them entertained between 10am and 11am.
Chairman of the Holmer Green Squash Club, David Albin said: “We have a lively squash club here in Holmer Green and we wanted to do something to support this excellent local charity, whilst getting fit, celebrating our favourite game and welcoming the public to our club.”
The event will take place at Holmer Green Squash Club in Watchet Lane. All equipment is provided and more information can be found on the website. http://www.hgsrc.co.uk/
