The 16th century Swan in nestled in the Chilterns has retained its traditional pub charm as well as adding a modern twist.
The watering hole in Ley Hill is just a mile outside of Chesham and was originally converted from three cottages.
The interior of the pub has been improved, but the wooden beams, inglenook fireplace and original stove have been restored to their former gory.
Nigel Byatt, who owns the Swan with his wife Sam, says the most popular dish amongst regulars and new visitors alike is the pork belly, with the chocolate fondant for dessert.
Dogs are welcome in the garden area of the pub and the snug room however they are not permitted in the main restaurant.
The kitchen is preparing for new additions to be added to the menu in the next couple of months ready for the summer.
The Swan is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 3pm then 5:30pm to 11pm. Food is served from 12pm to 2:30pm and 6pm to 9pm.
On Sundays it is open from 12pm to 4pm and food is served from 12pm to 3pm.
The Swan is open on bank holidays and closed on Mondays.
