Four people charged in connection with a spate of attacks on cars in Castlefield are to appear before a crown court judge on Monday.
Iftikar Aslam, 22, of Desborough Road, 20-year-old Waqas Yasin and 19-year-old Khurum Hanif, both of Rutland Avenue, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, were all charged by police last week.
They were all remanded into custody by magistrates on Saturday and are now due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday.
The charges relate to incidents of criminal damage to 247 vehicles across Castlefield from Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, April 9.
Aslam, Yasin and Hanif have all been charged with arson, theft of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to destroy/damage property. The 17-year-old faces the same charges, along with another charge of possessing cannabis.
A further five people who have been arrested in connection to the attacks remain on police bail.
