Staines Town defied pouring rain to come from behind and gain a confidence-boosting 2-1 win over Heybridge Swifts on Tuesday night.
Just as they did three months earlier in the Westview Cup, Staines claimed victory courtesy of a Dean Thomas goal and a stoppage time winner, this time from Kevin Warner.
With Saturday's match at Hendon a victim of a waterlogged pitch, Staines remain 13th in the Ryman Premier League, a position they have occupied since December 12.
They now face two home games in four days - against Boreham Wood this Saturday and high flying Bromley on Tuesday.
Boss Steve Cordery said: "We have two tough games coming up but both are winnable. At our best we are a match for any team in the division.
"Darren Campbell has returned to us after spells with Farnborough and Fleet and gives us an extra dimension.
"He is a fast, skilful winger who makes good runs and gets behind defences as he showed by helping to set up our winner against Heybridge."
Heybridge took a sixth- minute lead when Ian Cousins' deep free-kick was headed home by Dean Chandler.
Staines were then frustrated as man-of-the-match Clement James twice rattled the bar.
Swifts keeper Danny Gay made saves from James, Kevin Warner, Mark Nwokeji, Ali Chaaban and Thomas.
The equaliser came three minutes into the second-half. Nwokeji's shot was knocked into the air by Gay and the recalled Thomas headed only his second senior goal for Staines - both of them against Swifts.
Campbell came on as a 61st minute substitute and was soon jinking his way down the right wing. He was scythed down by Warren Ryan, which brought a straight red card from referee Lee Collins.
Heybridge boss Brian Statham was then dismissed from the bench for abusive language to the referee.
Staines seemed to settle for a draw after James limped off with a calf strain.
But three minutes into stoppage time they grabbed a late winner. Campbell darted down the right and fed Nwokeji, whose shot squirmed beyond Gay's dive, with Warner helping the ball over the line.
Staines: Allaway; Gordon, Sargent, Thompson, capt, McDonald; James (Scarlett 78), K Warner, Thomas (Campbell 61), Risbridger; Nwokeji, Chaaban.
