A body has been found in woods near Marlow, police confirmed this evening.
A police search party found the body of a man at around noon today in woods in Medmenham.
Officers say they believe the body is that of 21-year-old Bucks New University student Ivan Kulyk from Tilehurst, near Reading, who has been missing since February 17.
His family has been informed.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
Worried friends and relatives have been desperately searching for Ivan, setting up Facebook and Twitter pages in the hope of locating the man from Tilehurst.
Tonight, Nicola Biddle Chandler posted to his dedicated Facebook page: “As many of you will have now read, a body has been found in the search for Ivan.
“On behalf of his friends and family I just want to thank you all for all the love and support you have shown throughout.
“Rip buddy you'll always have a place in our heart.”
Scores of tributes have flooded in from friends.
April Mott wrote: “RIP Ivan. Things feel strange already without you. Will miss you xxxx”
And former teacher, Mary Simpson at Bucks New University, said: “RIP Ivan. I had the pleasure of teaching you every year for the last 3 years and you will be missed by all your friends at Bucks - lecturers included.
“Your sense of humour made me smile every lecture. Thinking of your family and all your friends xx”
