An award winning village pub is under threat from closure after plans to convert it into a house were submitted.
Proposals to change the Three Horseshoes in Radnage into a five bedroom home have been put to Wycombe District Council by Oxford-based property developer JPPC Chartered Town Planners.
The pub has previously won awards for the standard of its food and in the past has been named among the 100 finest places to stay in England by the Sunday Times, and was included in a list of 50 great pubs in England and Wales by the Daily Telegraph.
A decision on whether to grant permission to the plans is due to be made by the council in February. In the meantime the pub remains open for business.
