Travellers move onto village common
TRAVELLERS have moved onto the common in Penn Street - but police say they're expecting a short stay from them.
The group arrived in the village last night and pitched up on the common.
Thames Valley Police have said they have been to speak to the travellers and given them 'stern advice' about respecting the land they have set up camp on, which is used by Penn Street Cricket Club.
Officers added they are working with the parish council to ensure the group are moved on swiftly.
