ANOTHER planning application has been put in to build a crematorium in Little Kimble, following a previous refusal.
Dignity plc has put in a second application to build at the 12 acre site at Doe Hill Farm.
It was rejected by Wycombe District Council last November and the company started to appeal, before withdrawing.
They have now put in a second application.
A spokesman for Dignity plc said: "Our second application has addressed the reasons for the original plans being refused by significantly changing the landscaping of the proposed crematorium grounds. We are aware that other proposals have been submitted for alternative sites."
Aylesbury Vale District Council has put plans in to build a new crematorium at Bierton and the Westerleigh Group has applied to build a crematorium at Watermead, Aylesbury.
Julie Needle helped set up the Kimble and Ellesborough Residents Action Group, when the first application between Little Kimble and Terrick went in.
She said the site would result in a loss of agricultural land and the access onto the A4010 would be dangerous.
Mrs Needle added: "The whole thing would be against planning policies. We have regrouped as an action group.
"It is all a bit bizarre really. I am not quite sure what's going on and we are all a bit concerned."
She said it would make more sense to have a further crematorium built north of Aylesbury, as residents south of the town have access to the Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham.
