A SPEED camera in Hazlemere was set on fire in an arson attack last night.
The device, in Holmer Green Road, was set alight shortly after 11pm. Two vehicle tyres had been placed over it and covered in what police describe as an accelerant before it was set on fire.
Officers investigating the fire said the flames could have spread to nearby woodland.
Thames Valley Police has this morning made an appeal for information. Anyone who can help should call 101 and quote crime report number GG/4336039/13.
A fire crew from High Wycombe fire station were called out to attend at 11.13pm.
