A CAR crashed into the front of a High Wycombe shop yesterday.
Police said the driver of a dark Jaguar had a “medical episode” at the wheel before the vehicle smashed into the front of the Local Roots delicatessen and market in Crendon Street at 5.15pm on Sunday.
Firecrews and paramedics were called to the scene to release the man from the car before he was air-lifted to hospital.
Vidya and Arran Crawley said they were “shaken up” by the incident, as they were inches from the window when the car crashed in their shop.
They added Local Roots will be closed until further notice.
