Travellers have set up camp opposite an upmarket Marlow health club.

A number of caravans and other vehicles have been spotted on a construction site in Fieldhouse Lane, across the road from The Marlow Club.

They are believed to have moved into the town yesterday (Tuesday).

Wycombe District Council said in a statement: "We’re aware of the travellers at Globe Park in Marlow.

"We’re taking appropriate steps to move them on as soon as is practicable."
