SHOWCOURT Productions present 'Murdered to Death' by Peter Gordon at Holmer Green Village Centre from October 26 to 29. It is a send up of the Agatha Christie murder mystery genre and features an English version of Inspector Clouseau. The Wednesday and Thursday performances start at 7.30pm. THE Wooburn Festival is continuing for the next few weeks before it finishes on Sunday, October 23 with a concert by City of London Sinfonia at the Wycombe Swan. Known as one of the UK's leading orchestras they will play Shostkovich's Piano Concerto No.1 and Weber's Clarinet Quintet. On Monday, October 17 the Festival Film, My Week With Marilyn, will be introduced by Quentin Falk at 8pm at the Empire Cinema in High Wycombe. RARE Productions are auditioning for their latest show, Oliver. It will be at The Elgiva in Chesham from February 9 to 11. "A LAST Night of the Proms Concert" featuring the Band of the Adjutant General's Corps, with soprano Sophie Thurman, will be at 7pm on Wednesday, October 26 at The Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. The concert is in aid of SSAFA-Forces Help, the charity which helps past and present members of the Armed Forces and their families, who are in need.
