A “heavy snow shower” has been reported in south Buckinghamshire this afternoon following a drop in temperatures.
Despite being over a month into spring and just eight weeks from the longest day, snowfall has been reported across southern parts of England, with the icy blast now reaching Bucks.
The unusual winter shower comes after the Met Office warned of possible snowfall in the Midlands today, while others have reported snow showers in London this afternoon.
Puzzled readers have been in touch with the Bucks Free Press to say it is snowing across the county, including in Great Kingshill, Great Missenden, Stokenchurch and Hazlemere.
Current forecasts for Bucks does not show any snow, but the cold weather is expected to continue throughout the week.

@bucksfreepress I’m in the City of London and it’s been snowing here, so no surprise it’s snowing in the Chilterns!
